Dechert partner Amy Ufberg has been elected as a Fellow by The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).

ACTEC is an organization of trust and estate lawyers and law professors in the United States and around the world. ACTEC Fellows are elected by their peers in recognition of outstanding contributions to the practice of trust and estate law. These distinguished professionals are dedicated to maintaining excellence in the trust and estate legal field and to the continuous improvement of trust and estate law practice. ACTEC Fellows are skilled and experienced in the preparation of wills and trusts, estate planning and probate procedure and administration of trusts and estates of decedents, minors and incompetents.

Ms. Ufberg is the chair of the private client group. She focuses her practice on estate planning, charitable planning and estate and trust administration, with particular experience in succession planning for individuals with interests in closely held businesses. Ms. Ufberg has crafted and implemented numerous sophisticated wealth transfer plans for individuals and large family groups, managing the administration of extensive, complex estates and trusts across multiple jurisdictions. Additionally, she represents several large charitable foundations.
