International Financial Law Review Honors Dechert Matter as Structured Finance & Securitization Impact Deal Winner

In the International Financial Law Review (IFLR) Europe Awards 2026, a Dechert matter — Barings Euro Middle Market CLO 2025-1 — was named winner of the “Impact Deal Award – Securitization and Structured Finance.”

Barings Euro Middle Market CLO 2025-1 DAC is the first European CLO to combine a multicurrency structure with a portfolio targeting exclusively private credit assets, directly originated by Barings' European Private Credit Platform. Featuring both Euro and Sterling tranches, the transaction represents a landmark development in Europe's growing private credit CLO market.

The transaction is one of a string of first-of-their-kind private credit CLOs that Dechert has led in Europe, reflecting the firm's influential and ongoing role in driving the development of an expanding market for private credit CLOs on the continent. Dechert's standing in this market was further recognized at the same ceremony, where the firm was named a finalist for the "Structured Finance & Securitization Team of the Year" award.

Winners were honored at a ceremony in London on June 11.
