The Irish Investment Limited Partnership (ILP), Ireland’s recently overhauled flagship partnership vehicle, is increasingly of interest to managers with closed-ended private equity, private credit, real estate and infrastructure classes. In this webinar, Dechert Lawyers, Craig Borthwick and David Layden in discussion with Carol Widger, will use their recent experience in launching an Irish ILP to guide you through a number of topics.
Rather than focusing on what the ILP can do, in this webinar the speakers will draw out and discuss some of the issues/considerations that managers need to be aware of when considering Ireland as a domicile and the ILP as the vehicle. To do so, the speakers will provide an overview of its key features and shortcomings when compared with its competitors in Cayman and Luxembourg.
