New SEC Private Fund Adviser Rules

This past August, the Securities and Exchange Commission adopted new and amended rules under the Investment Advisers Act that will substantially alter the reporting, disclosure, and other responsibilities of investment advisers, particularly with respect to U.S. advisers to private funds.
