Dechert LLP advised private equity firm Tengram Capital Partners and its portfolio company, Earth Treks Climbing and Fitness (“Earth Treks”), in connection with the acquisition by Earth Treks of Planet Granite: Climbing, Fitness and Yoga.
The acquisition, and resulting combination of the two businesses, will create one of the largest climbing gym networks in the United States, bringing together two of the most experienced management teams in the climbing industry, servicing nine climbing and fitness centers in operation (with two more currently under construction). The combined company will have over 700 employees and serve over 2,000,000 customers each year.
