Continental Agrees to Private Equity Investment in EasyMile

PARIS – Dechert LLP advised Continental, a German company and one of the leading automotive suppliers worldwide, in its minority private equity investment in EasyMile SAS, a French high-tech startup specializing in the autonomous vehicle market. The completion of the transaction is subject to approval from relevant antitrust authorities.

The Paris-based team advising Continental was led by corporate partner François Hellot, together with corporate associates Guillaume Briant and Judith Malka. Partner Mélanie Thill-Tayara and associate Marion Provost advised on antitrust aspects, while partner Bruno Leroy, associate Antoine Le Touzé and associate Pierre Emmanuel Floc’h gave counsel on tax aspects. IP associate Pierre-Olivier Ally, labor associate Thibault Meiers, and labor associates Victoria Hamel and Sophie Montagne also took part in this matter.
