J.H Whitney Portfolio Company Aveanna Healthcare to Acquire Maxim’s Home Healthcare Unit

Dechert serves as legal advisor to J.H Whitney Capital Partners as its portfolio company Aveanna Healthcare announced that it has agreed to acquire the home healthcare division of Maxim Healthcare Services. The deal, which is subject to regulatory clearances and other closing conditions, is expected to close in the second quarter of 2019.
Aveanna Healthcare, backed by Bain Capital and J.H. Whitney Capital Partners, is a privately-owned leading home healthcare company headquartered in Atlanta. Maxim Healthcare Services, based in Columbia, Maryland, is a leading provider of home healthcare and healthcare staffing services.
