Dechert Advises Stripes Group on £178 Million Sale of Portfolio Company Audio Network Limited

Dechert LLP acted as English and U.S. counsel to leading private equity firm Stripes Group on the sale of its portfolio company Audio Network Limited to Entertainment One Limited for total proceeds of approximately £178 million.
Prior to the sale, Stripes Group held approximately 30 percent of the equity in Audio Network, one of the world’s largest independent creators and publishers of original high-quality music for use in film, television, advertising and digital media. Entertainment One is a London listed global independent studio that specializes in the development, acquisition, production, financing, distribution and sale of entertainment content.
Dechert has advised Stripes Group in relation to Audio Network since 2013, when Stipes made its initial investment, as well as on additional investments since then. The cross-border Dechert corporate team advising on this exit included partners Henry Nassau and Sean Geraghty, counsel James Stonehill and associate Rose Limaye.
