Cinépolis Acquires Moviehouse & Eatery Chain

Dechert served as legal counsel to Cinépolis on its recently announced acquisition of Moviehouse & Eatery, an upscale dine-in movie theatre circuit in Texas with five operating locations. Effective immediately, this acquisition expands Cinépolis USA’s footprint, now operating 258 screens at 26 locations in seven U.S. states. Moviehouse & Eatery will continue to operate independently.
