Dechert Advises Benta Pharma in its Takeover of Famar Lyon

Dechert LLP advised Benta Pharma in connection with its plans for takeover of Famar Lyon, authorized by the ruling from the Paris Commercial Court on July 20, 2020.
Benta Pharma, a Lebanese family-owned pharmaceutical group, aims to redeploy Benta Pharma/Famar in France and in Europe. Likewise, the COVID-19 range developed by Famar will be maintained. Investments in this manufacturing site are in keeping with government statements on restoring sovereignty in terms of pharmaceutical production.
