Stewart McQueen Named Lead of Dechert’s Commercial Mortgage-Backed Securities Group

Global finance partner Stewart McQueen has been named lead of Dechert’s commercial mortgage-backed securities group as part of the firm’s global finance and real estate offerings.
Dechert’s commercial mortgage-backed securities practice represents clients across all asset categories and securitization technologies, including CMBS and CRE CLOs, warehouse facilities, cash and synthetic transactions and on the purchase and sale of pools of loans and other financial assets. Dechert led all law firms in terms of 2021 issuance volume for CRE CLO transactions, according to Commercial Mortgage Alert. The firm was also the top issuer counsel with regard to single family rental (SFR) securitizations, according to Asset-Backed Alert.
