Dechert advised Vestiaire Collective, a leading second-hand fashion platform, on its innovative crowdfunding campaign.

Vestiaire Collective launched a crowdfunding campaign as a marketing effort to strengthen its connection with its community and bring its most loyal customers into its shareholder base. The company, which aims to transform the fashion industry towards a more sustainable future, managed to raise over three times its target from more than 3,000 participants in Europe and the UK. The campaign also involved a noteworthy 58 percent female investors.

Dechert has advised Vestiaire Collective since 2019, during key moments of its development.
