Dechert Bolsters Leveraged Finance Capabilities, Adding Partner Ben Burton in London

Dechert LLP announced today that Ben Burton has joined the firm as a partner in its global finance practice. Based in London, Mr. Burton’s extensive leveraged finance and restructuring experience will enhance the firm’s private equity and finance capabilities.

Mr. Burton is an accomplished leveraged finance lawyer with over a decade of experience working across UK, European and U.S. markets, including time spent in New York. He has deep sponsor-side experience across a broad scope of European acquisition finance, including syndicated and direct lending markets. Working at the intersection of leveraged finance and private equity, his experience will strengthen the firm’s ability to support clients with their private equity and mergers and acquisitions transactions. Mr. Burton also brings valuable experience in restructuring.
