Mark E. Thierfelder Interviewed by The American Lawyer on Private Equity

Chair of the Dechert’s corporate and securities group Mark E. Thierfelder was among a select number of top PE practitioners interviewed for The American Lawyer’s feature article titled, “How Big Law Shaped Private Equity and Rode the Wave to Record Revenue.” The article focuses on the evolution of private equity work within the legal field.
Mr. Thierfelder, who is noted for having approximately 28 years of PE experience, discussed a number of topics in the article, including the role of outside counsel in the PE industry. “Changes across the private equity industry have really necessitated that lawyers think more broadly and deeply about their clients’ business,” he commented.
