Ben Atkins
Ben Atkins is an associate in Dechert’s corporate and securities practice, focusing on a range of fund finance and structured finance transactions.
He has experience working across a variety of jurisdictions on both public and private transactions, and across a broad range of asset classes, including commercial and residential real estate, auto loans and asset-based lending.
Mr. Atkins has represented many types of market participants, including sponsors, lenders, investors, issuers, originators, agents, trustees and swap providers.
- A European Credit Investment Firm in relation to its sale to a global private equity firm.
- The Vita Group on a three-year €81.5 million trade receivables securitization program, across 11 jurisdictions.
- A UK Lender (as seller, servicer, risk retention holder and cash manager) on a £300 million public RMBS of second charge. residential and mixed-use mortgage loans made to UK borrowers.
- A Multilateral Development Bank on the restructuring of their loan facilities with two African sovereigns.
- A National Government in relation to the issuance of a Blue Bond for the purposes of financing development expenditures, refinancing its obligations under existing loan agreements, and protecting the oceans surrounding the nation.
