Arian Birth is an associate in Dechert’s antitrust/competition group in the Brussels office where he focuses his practice on national and multi-jurisdictional merger control as well as foreign direct investment (FDI) matters. Mr. Birth has also advised clients on various non-transactional antitrust matters including information exchange, abuse of dominance, complaints by competitors under the Foreign Subsidies Regulation (FSR) and competition law aspects of technology transfer negotiations.
Mr. Birth has significant experience advising clients in the technology sector and closely follows developments in digital regulation, particularly the Digital Markets Act (DMA) and related national implementations. He has advised clients on implementing early-stage compliance strategies in various digital regulatory matters. Mr. Birth has also developed particular experience advising clients in the pharmaceutical, health and finance industries.
Prior to joining Dechert, Mr. Birth practiced at a leading boutique competition firm in Brussels.
