
Chloe Binding is an investigations and white collar crime lawyer, with a focus on international bribery, corruption and fraud. She advises and represents corporates, individuals and financial institutions across a range of serious and complex investigations and prosecutions, often with a multi-jurisdictional aspect.
Prior to joining Dechert, Ms. Binding spent nine years practicing at the independent bar, focusing on the regulation of professionals and high-profile investigations. She was regularly ranked in Legal 500 as a leading junior barrister in professional regulation, noted as being an “excellent and natural advocate.”
Ms. Binding’s investigations experience includes acting as junior counsel in the long-running investigation and subsequent inquests relating to the 96 deaths resulting from the Hillsborough Stadium Disaster in April 1989. She has developed considerable knowledge in the field of financial regulation, advising financial institutions on a range of compliance, anti-money laundering and counter terrorist financing frameworks.
