Kim Church is counsel in the financial services and investment management practice group. Ms. Church advises registered funds and business development companies, their investment advisers and their boards of directors on a wide range of corporate matters, with a particular focus on the development and launch of new funds, regulatory compliance matters for existing funds, fund and adviser compliance programs, fund governance issues and fund/adviser reorganizations and acquisitions.
Ms. Church has extensive experience with closed-end funds, alternative strategy funds, including interval funds and tender offer funds, and insurance-dedicated funds and their advisers. She also counsels fund boards and independent board members on regulatory and corporate governance matters.
