Shirley Garrett is an associate in Dechert’s global finance practice, focusing her practice on securitization matters, complex real estate finance and capital markets. Ms. Garrett has experience representing commercial banks, investment banks and non-bank lenders in their role as issuers, underwriters, mortgage loan sellers and b-piece buyers in commercial real estate collateralized loan obligations (CRE CLOs) and commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) transactions.
Ms. Garrett was a Dechert summer associate in 2022 and 2023.
Special Education – Regularly collaborate with community partners to offer legal representation to parents and guardians of students with special education needs, Section 504, or discipline-related issues.
