Jack G. Haake

Jack G. Haake is a restructuring and insolvency partner whose practice spans the full spectrum of financial distress – from complex Chapter 11 reorganizations and distressed asset acquisitions to workouts, creditors' rights enforcement and commercial litigation. Mr. Haake advises corporate, partnership and LLC debtors, trustees and creditor committees across bankruptcy proceedings, adversary proceedings, change-of-control transactions and state court matters.

Mr. Haake brings particular depth in representing a diverse range of debtor and creditor-side clients through complex Chapter 11 reorganizations and out-of-court restructurings. His experience encompasses distressed M&A, asset liquidations and cross-border insolvency matters, including the wind-down of foreign subsidiaries in complex multinational structures. This breadth of experience enables him to deliver practical, results-oriented counsel at every stage of financial distress.

Before entering private practice, Mr. Haake clerked for the Honorable Thomas J. Catliota in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Maryland and the Honorable Paul M. Bowman in the Circuit Court for Kent County, Maryland – a foundation that informs his precise, court-ready approach to bankruptcy matters. His pro bono work includes the successful prosecution of asylum claims on behalf of individuals navigating the immigration system.
