
Patricia Leeson focuses her practice on financial services, investment advisers, banking and financial institutions, and mutual funds. She advises U.S.-registered investment companies, including open-end and exchange-traded funds, and their investment advisers on a wide variety of regulatory, compliance and corporate matters, including the development, structuring and launch of new funds, fund reorganizations, and regulatory and compliance matters relating to existing funds. Ms. Leeson also counsels investment advisers and other financial institutions in regulatory, corporate and governance matters, including registrations, regulatory filings, compliance policies and procedures, marketing and disclosure obligations.
Ms. Leeson joined Dechert as a summer associate in 2016. Previously she was a legal intern in the Office of Enforcement Liaison of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Division of Corporation Finance and at the United States Attorney’s Office in Philadelphia. Ms. Leeson is admitted in Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia; she is not admitted in New York.
