George K. Ofori focuses his practice on structured finance solutions, advising clients regarding rated notes, collateralized fund obligations and other structured transactions to facilitate insurance capital investments into private fund strategies. Mr. Ofori represents fund sponsors, investors and underwriters in the space and has experience negotiating with all transaction parties.
Prior to joining Dechert, he was an associate in Washington, DC at another global law firm.
- Immigration Legal Advice & Referral Clinic – Partner with participating attorneys to secure lawful immigration status for those seeking asylum, having left their home countries to escape various forms of persecution.
- Housing Right to Counsel Project – Provide free legal representation to a percentage of subsidized housing tenants who are sued for eviction.
