Francois Quintard-Morenas

Francois Quintard-Morenas serves as special counsel in the corporate and securities group. He focuses his practice on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, landlord and tenant side leasing, ground leasing, and real estate financing. Mr. Quintard-Morenas has also considerable experience with the real estate aspects of corporate transactions (including mergers and acquisitions, project finance, and secured transactions).

Before joining Dechert, Mr. Quintard-Morenas was an associate at a leading international law firm in Paris.

  • Bruckmann, Rosser, Sherrill & Co. in its acquisition of EOS Fitness Holdings, LLC.
  • Brandywine Senior Living, Inc. in its US$610 million sale and leaseback of 19 senior housing facilities to Health Care REIT Inc. 
  • Select Medical Corporation in an exchange of long term acute care hospitals with Kindred Healthcare, Inc. 
  • Bondholders in the US$600 million acquisition of Greektown Casino in a Chapter 11 proceeding. 
  • Icahn entities in the restructuring of Trump Entertainment Resorts Inc. 
  • Graham Partners in its acquisition of a leading provider of high pressure pasteurization, cold storage, and other value-added services to food and beverage manufacturers. 
  • Preferred Real Estate Investments, Inc. in its acquisition of U.S. Silica Company, a leading provider of industrial silica products. 
  • Centre Partners in its acquisition of Captain D’s, a seafood restaurant chain. 
  • Bregal Partners in its acquisition of various saltwater disposal facilities in the United States and Canada. 
  • Various hedge funds in the leasing of office space in New York City. 
  • Fashion designer Elie Saab in the leasing of retail space in New York City.
