Raul Vellani
Raul Vellani is an associate in Dechert’s private equity practice. He advises domestic and international clients in the United States, Europe and Asia-Pacific on corporate matters including private equity transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and portfolio company issues.
Prior joining Dechert, Mr. Vellani was a senior associate at a leading international law firm, where he handled public and private mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets transactions, corporate restructurings and general corporate advisory and securities matters.
- Aquiline Capital Partners on its investment in Isio, a leading independent UK provider of actuarial and consulting, pensions administration, investment advisory, employee reward and benefits and wealth advisory services.
- Waterland Private Equity and management on the sale of Cooper Parry, a UK-based business advisory group, to Lee Equity Partners.
- Ardonagh, one of the world’s largest independent insurance distribution platforms and a top 20 global broker, on the investment by Stone Point Capital at a US$14 billion valuation.
- Rover Group on its acquisition of Cat in a Flat, an online cat-sitting platform with operations across the UK and Europe; and its acquisition of GuDog, an online dog-sitting platform with operations across the UK, Ireland, Spain and the Nordics.
- Scantox, a portfolio company of Impilo, on the acquisition of Gentronix, a specialist CRO delivering predictive toxicology products and services to global chemical sectors.
- Sydney Aviation Alliance, a consortium comprising IFM Australian Infrastructure Fund, AustralianSuper, Australian Retirement Trust, IFM Global Infrastructure Fund and Global Infrastructure Partners, on its A$32 billion acquisition of Sydney Airport.
