Stephen M. Wolpert’s practice focuses on representation of secured and unsecured creditors, bondholder groups, bank groups, and debtors in large-scale restructurings and reorganizations and in non-judicial workouts throughout the United States.

In 2017, Mr. Wolpert was a member of the Dechert team which represented the Ad Hoc Group of Noteholders in connection with the Chapter 11 restructuring of Modular Space Corporation, an achievement named as 'Industrials Deal of the Year' for deals over US$100 million at The M&A Advisor's Turnaround Awards. The previous year, the team won the 'Chapter 11 Reorganization of the Year' award in the same contest for deals valued between US$1 billion-US$5 billion for guiding RCS Capital through a major restructuring initiative, which was also selected for Turnarounds & Workouts' "Successful Restructurings" list for 2016.
