Dechert’s Private Fund Practices Honored in Awards in Europe, the Americas and Asia

Dechert LLP has been honored in five “Law Firm of the Year” awards in Europe, the Americas, and Asia by Private Debt Investor (PDI), Private Equity International (PEI), and Private Equity Real Estate (PERE), the publications of record for the world’s private credit, private equity, and private equity real estate markets.

In the PDI Awards 2016, Dechert was named “Law Firm of the Year in the Americas” for its outstanding work on fund formation and on a host of transactions and financings. The firm won the same award in 2015.

Dechert was also selected as a finalist in Europe, where, PDI noted, the firm enjoys “lots of prominent European advisory mandates.”

In the PEI Awards 2016, Dechert climbed to second place in Asia-Pacific for its work in the fund space, particularly in fund formation. The firm, a third-time nominee, advises on a large number of private equity funds across the continent. Dechert also placed second in the “Law Firm of the Year in Asia-Pacific (Secondaries)” category.

Still in Asia, the firm’s achievements in fund formation earned it a finalist slot in the PERE Global Awards 2016, which were set up to honor leading players in private real estate markets.

Winners for each of these awards were decided by industry vote.
