The Asian Affinity Group fosters connection, community and cultural awareness across the firm. Through engaging programs and firmwide events, the group celebrates the rich diversity of Asian cultures and traditions, including Lunar New Year, Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month and Diwali.
Past program highlights include a conversation with Joo won Ahn, Principal Dancer at American Ballet Theater; a Traditional Chinese Lion Dance performed by members of the Chinese Freemasons Athletic Club; an evening with Bobby Kwak who co-owns Noksu, deemed by Michelin as one of the best Korean restaurants in New York City; and a live performance by G-Hwaja, known for their unique renditions of Korean traditional songs, K-Pop, Pop and more, all performed using traditional Korean instruments.
