Private Debt Investor Recognizes Kenneth Hackman as Rising Star

Dechert LLP’s Philadelphia-based global finance partner Kenneth D. Hackman has been honored as a 2022 Rising Star by Private Debt Investor (PDI), the publication of record for the world’s private debt markets. Mr. Hackman is one of just five lawyers named to the list.
Mr. Hackman has been a chief driver in the development of the single-family rental (SFR) space and has represented Dechert clients on a broad range of SFR finance transactions notable for their novelty and complexity.
In 2022, Mr. Hackman was named to Law360’s Rising Stars list in the structured finance category. He is recognized as a next-generation lawyer for real estate finance by The Legal 500 US and is also ranked by Chambers USA as a leading lawyer in the single-family rental securitization category which noted he, “boasts the ability to act for borrower and lender-side clients on single-family rental loans”.
Mr. Hackman also advises on repurchase facilities and warehouse facilities secured by commercial mortgage loans; on the origination, acquisition and disposition of complex mortgage loans and mezzanine financings; and the modification, workout and restructuring of complex distressed-debt structures. He represents a number of investment banks, commercial banks, life insurance companies, institutional investors, specialty finance companies, REITs and private equity funds.
