MergerLinks Names Mark Evans Among its “Rising Stars: Top UK PE Lawyers”

Dechert LLP London-based corporate partner Mark Evans has been recognized by MergerLinks in its 2023 “Rising Stars: Top UK PE Lawyers” list. The list features the top 30 young lawyers most active on UK private equity deals.
MergerLinks noted Mr. Evans’ work on the £6.7 billion offer for WM Morrison Supermarkets for client GIC, as part of the investment group led by Fortress, and on the £3bn merger of Worldwide Express with GlobalTranz Enterprises.
Mr. Evans practices corporate law, with a particular focus on private equity, fund acquisitions, restructuring, consensual work-outs, joint ventures, and public M&A. He was also recently recognized by IFLR in its Rising Star Awards EMEA 2022 for private equity and venture capital.
