GlobalCapital Honors Dechert with Double Victory at its US Securitization Awards 2025

May 28, 2025

Dechert’s global finance team has been honored for excellence for its role in two winning transactions in GlobalCapital’s U.S. Securitization Awards 2025.

The US$3.5 billion CMBS loan used to refinance New York City’s iconic Rockefeller Center complex, ROCK 2024-CNTR, was named “CMBS Deal of the Year” by GlobalCapital. Partners Jason Rozes, David Forti and Stewart McQueen led a Dechert team advising Bank of America and Wells Fargo on the origination and securitization of what is the largest CMBS loan for a single office property on record.

The first-ever rated residential transition loan securitization, Toorak 2024-RRTL1, was also named winner in the “RMBS Deal of the Year” category. Partners Ralph Mazzeo and Linda Ann Bartosch led a Dechert team advising Toorak Capital Partners as issuer’s counsel on the groundbreaking, US$240 million transaction.

GlobalCapital’s U.S. Securitization Awards honor the firms and deals that stand out among their peers in the U.S. securitization industry, with winners decided by industry vote. The awards were presented at a dinner ceremony on May 15.
