Private Equity Attorney Markus Bolsinger Joins Dechert as Partner in New York

Global specialist law firm Dechert LLP announced today it has expanded its corporate & securities practice with the addition of Markus Bolsinger as a partner. Bolsinger will serve as an anchor of the New York office's private equity practice. He joins the firm from Kirkland & Ellis, where, for almost two decades, he has concentrated on transactional private equity in a diverse group of industry sectors.

Bolsinger structures and negotiates complex transactions, including mergers, buyouts, recapitalizations and going-private transactions. In addition to his core private equity experience, Bolsinger is noted as having extensive expertise in transactional risk insurance for mergers and acquisitions. His experience extends across industries, including the consumer, industrial, food & beverage, healthcare and agribusiness sectors.

Bolsinger is admitted to practice in the state of New York and in Germany. He received his law degree in 1993 from the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, Germany, his LL.M. in 1997 from the University of Chicago, and his Dr. jur. in 1998 from the Eberhard Karls Universität Tübingen, Germany.
