ETF.com Names Dechert ETF Law Firm of the Year

Dechert LLP has been recognized as “ETF Law Firm of the Year” in the ETF.com Awards 2017, which were created to honor businesses, individuals and law firms at the forefront of innovation and development in the ETF industry. Winners were chosen by a jury of independent experts from shortlists drawn up by senior editors at ETF.com, Inside ETFs and FactSet.

Dechert's financial services practice, which comprises approximately 200 lawyers in 17 offices located across the United States, Europe, Middle East and Asia, represents 18 out of 20 of the world’s chief global asset managers. The practice was described by ETF.com as “truly second to none.” With more than 30 ETF lawyers serving 20 ETF sponsors, the firm was also praised for its “depth of practical expertise with regard to regulatory issues and for the depth of its practice.” The practice continues to expand with recent lateral hires, including Jeff Mackey in Dublin, Monica Gogna in London and Joachim Kayser in Frankfurt.

This is the third consecutive year in which Dechert has been recognized by ETF.com. The firm was named winner in the “Best ETF Lawyer” category in 2016 and in the “Best Funds Lawyer” category in the 2015 Europe Awards. 

This year’s winners were announced at a ceremony on March 22 at Chelsea Piers, New York City.
