Further Global Acquires Payment Alliance International, GBGI Limited

Dechert advised New York-based private equity firm Further Global Capital Management (Further Global) on two recently completed acquisitions within the financial services industry – Payment Alliance International (PAI) and GBGI Limited.

Further Global completed its acquisition of US-based Payment Alliance International (PAI), the nation’s largest privately-held ATM provider with over 75,000 ATMs.

The Dechert team advising on the PAI transaction was led by corporate partners Mark Thierfelder and Jonathan Kim, and included corporate associates John Alessi, Guilherme Smolarek de Barros and Eddie Iqbal; tax partner Joshua Milgrim and associate George Davis; and employee benefits partner Eric Rubin and associate Michael Binko.

Further Global also recently completed its take private acquisition of GBGI Limited, a Guernsey domiciled AIM-listed company and the holding company for the "The Global Benefits Group," a provider of international benefits insurance globally through various subsidiary companies across 120 jurisdictions.
