Dechert Advises on Investment into STEP and HysetCo by Kouros SA

Dechert advised STEP and HysetCo in connection with an investment made by Kouros SA into Hype zero-emission hydrogen taxis.
The investment by Kouros, an industrial investment company focused on clean energy, in the two companies linked to the Hype project: STEP (Société du Taxi Electrique Parisien), the first company in the world exclusively operating hydrogen taxis, under the trademark Hype, and the Banque des Territoires; and HysetCo, the first asset manager dedicated to developing hydrogen mobility in the Paris region, will enable Kouros to strengthen its commitment to carbon-free mobility. For STEP and HysetCo, this investment also represents an important step in the emergence of a hydrogen mobility ecosystem in France and in the development of Hype, the world's first zero-emission hydrogen taxi fleet launched in 2015 as part of the COP21.
