Dechert Advises German Display Solutions Provider VIA Optronics on Cross-Border IPO on NYSE

Dechert advises VIA optronics AG (“VIA”), a leading supplier of enhanced display solutions, on its initial public offering of 6,250,000 American Depositary Shares (“ADSs”), representing 1,250,000 ordinary shares at a public offering price of $15.00 per ADS, for gross proceeds of $93.75 million, before underwriting discounts and commissions – priced today. All of the ADSs are being offered by VIA. VIA ADSs are scheduled to begin trading on New York Stock Exchange today under the ticker symbol “VIAO.” Berenberg is the sole bookrunner on the deal.

VIA provides a wide range of customized display solutions, including curved display panels and solutions integrating multiple display touch assemblies under a single cover lens. Its customers operate across the automotive, consumer electronics, and industrial and specialized applications markets, and include companies such as BMW, Ferrari, Dell, HP, 3M, and Honeywell.
