Dechert Advises Griffon in US$845 Million Acquisition of Hunter Fan Company

Dechert advised Griffon Corporation (NYSE: GFF), through its subsidiary The AMES Companies, Inc., in connection with Griffon Corporation’s announcement that it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire the Hunter Fan Company, a market leader in residential ceiling, commercial, and industrial fans, from MidOcean Partners for US$845 million. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to close by the end of January 2022.
