Dechert Advises ABC Impact in Innovafeed’s US$250 Million Funding Round

Dechert advised ABC Impact, an impact investing private equity fund headquartered in Singapore in connection with its investment in French biotechnology company Innovafeed, a leader in producing sustainable animal feed and plant nutrition ingredients from insects.

ABC Impact, alongside other investors (including global agribusiness leaders ADM and Cargill, as well as existing investors Temasek and Creadev), backed Innovafeed’s US$250 million (€250 million) Series D funding round. This new fundraising will allow Innovafeed to increase its production capacity in France, strengthen its investments in breakthrough technology and R&D, and accelerate its international expansion with a new production site in the United States and the preparation of its development into Southeast Asia.

Dechert’s team was led by Singapore corporate and private equity partner Timothy Goh, and Paris corporate and private equity national partner Delphin Boucher, with support from Paris corporate and private equity associate Léa Kemayou.
