Dechert Advises Roche and Foundation Medicine on Partnership with Gustave Roussy

Dechert advised Roche and Foundation Medicine in their partnership with Gustave Roussy, the leading cancer center in Europe, to establish a liquid biopsy testing platform.

As part of this public-private partnership, Foundation Medicine is deploying exclusively at Gustave Roussy its FoundationOne® Liquid CDx technology, which uses a single blood sample to analyze more than 300 cancer-related genes for genomic alterations that cause disease.

Thanks to this partnership, Gustave Roussy will increase its biopathology capacity by creating a laboratory for comprehensive genomic testing to serve leading advance precision medicine experts, centers and institutions in France. This will enable French physicians to more efficiently diagnose their patients and identify potential treatment options.
