Dechert Advises on the Successful Sale of Smile America Partners

Dechert advised Smile America Partners, the nation's largest school-based mobile dental program, and Beach Point Capital Management LP, a global alternative investment manager with more than US$20 billion in assets under management, on the successful sale of Smile America Partners.

Beach Point first partnered with Smile America in 2020 and subsequently acquired a majority ownership stake through its Hybrid Solutions strategy. During Beach Point's ownership, Smile America expanded its geographic footprint and service offerings, including establishing operations in Florida, and grew beyond its pre-pandemic business levels.

In 2025, Smile America served more than 370,000 children across 8,000 schools in 20 states, further solidifying its position as a leading provider of school-based dental care services in the United States.
