Following the global financial crisis, securities regulators from many countries focused attention on market liquidity and fund liquidity regulation. This article compares the US Securities and Exchange Commission’s fund liquidity risk management and disclosure regime with the Board of the International Organization of Securities Commissions’ Recommendations for Liquidity Risk Management for Collective Investment Schemes.
