David L. Attanasio centra su práctica en asuntos de arbitraje internacional y litigios internacionales. Tiene experiencia en casos bajo las reglas CIADI, CNUDMI, ICDR y SCC en los sectores de energía, petróleo y gas, minería y construcción. También ha actuado como secretario del Tribunal en casos bajo las reglas de arbitraje del European Development Fund (EDF).
Actualmente, el Sr. Attanasio es Presidente del Comité de Derecho de Inversión de la Subdivisión Americana del ILA y miembro del Comité de Planificación de la Conferencia International Law Weekend.
Antes de incorporarse a Dechert, el Sr. Attanasio recibió una beca Fulbright para realizar investigaciones en Bogotá, Colombia, sobre los recursos del derecho internacional en materia de violación de derechos humanos. Además, ha sido profesor invitado de la Universidad de los Andes y profesor de la Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano. También trabajó como pasante en la Comisión Colombiana de Juristas.
