Jooyoon R. Chang has experience counseling sponsors regarding the structuring, formation and ongoing regulatory requirements of hedge funds, venture capital funds, private equity funds, fund-of-funds and other types of private investment structures that utilize a broad range of strategies. Mr. Chang regularly advises U.S. banks, asset managers and investment funds on the cross-border provision of financial services and global distribution of investment products.

Mr. Chang also advises business development companies (BDCs) and registered investment companies, including mutual funds and exchange-traded funds, on various regulatory, compliance and business matters.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Chang was a law clerk at a global life insurance company and Massachusetts Senate Counsel’s Office.
