Dechert Represents Cardinal Capital Group in Inaugural RTL Securitization

Dechert advised Cardinal Capital Group, a leading private lender to residential real estate investors and developers, on the closing of its first residential transition loan (RTL) securitization backed by US$130 million in collateral.

The offering generated strong investor participation, highlighting Cardinal’s track record for disciplined underwriting, quality collateral and consistent performance. The transaction includes a two-year revolving period, enabling Cardinal to reinvest loan payoffs and continue scaling originations.

Dechert previously advised Toorak Capital Partners on the groundbreaking first-ever rated RTL securitization, which was named winner in the “RMBS Deal of the Year” category in GlobalCapital’s U.S. Securitization Awards 2025.
