Connecting Girls Across the World with Female Role Models

Dechert Partner, Miriam Gonzalez, discusses challenging the status quo and pressing for positive change for women, ahead of International Women’s Day (IWD) 2018. Discussing this year’s theme of IWD #PressforProgress, Ms. Gonzalez explores the gender pay gap and the limited access to female role models affecting girls around the world. 

Ms. Gonzalez is the Founder and Chair of Inspiring Girls International, a charity dedicated to raising the aspirations of young girls around world by connecting school girls and female role models. The campaign has been launched so far in Serbia, Spain, Italy, Brazil and Chile, with several more countries in the pipeline for 2018 and beyond. Dechert is a gold sponsor for the charity.
