Rui Cheng

Rui Cheng is a corporate, banking & finance lawyer in Luxembourg office and member of the firm’s financial services practice group. She advises both international and local clients on a broad spectrum of corporate, banking and financing matters.

Rui represents borrowers and lenders in secured and unsecured financings - including fund financing, NAV financings and bespoke liquidity solutions for Luxembourg investment funds and holding companies - as well as in real-estate finance, corporate acquisition finance, repurchase arrangements, structured and syndicated financings, securitizations and CLO transactions.

Her corporate practice covers mergers and acquisitions, private equity as well as acquisition financing. She assists clients with due diligence, the design and implementation of acquisition and holding-company structures, and complex corporate restructurings.

Prior to joining Dechert, Rui was an associate at a leading Luxembourg law firm and also worked in Paris for a major international law firm.
