Samuel H. Gilbert is a partner in Dechert's global finance practice and co-leads Dechert's Commercial Real Estate Finance group. Mr. Gilbert focuses his practice in the area of commercial real estate finance and securitization, with concentrations in the origination, acquisition, syndication, and securitization of mortgage loans, mezzanine financing, and subordinate debt, as well as post-closing modifications, work-outs, and foreclosures. He also has experience in collateralized loan obligations and synthetic lease transactions.
Mr. Gilbert also serves as a co-host on Dechert 4 Real, a commercial real estate finance podcast.
Prior to joining Dechert, Mr. Gilbert served as a law clerk for the National Football League Management Council.
