Matthew Haas, an associate in Dechert's global finance practice, focuses his practice on structured finance and securitization. Mr. Haas represents issuers, collateral managers, loan sellers, and underwriters in asset-backed securitization transactions, with a particular emphasis on commercial real estate collateralized loan obligation (CRE CLO) transactions, single-family rental (SFR) securitizations and commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS) offerings, including post-settlement transaction management. Mr. Haas also has experience advising clients with respect to credit facilities and repurchase facilities.
During his studies, Mr. Haas was a staff editor for the Temple Law Review and participated in the Temple University Beasley School of Law Federal Judicial Clerkship Honors Program where he interned for the Hon. C. Darnell Jones II at the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
