Dechert Advises Lenders on At Home’s Financial Restructuring

November 19, 2025

Dechert represented an ad hoc group of lenders on the successful restructuring of At Home Group Inc. (At Home) and its emergence from Chapter 11. As part of the restructuring, the ad hoc group provided a US$600 million debtor-in-possession credit facility.  The restructuring culminated with the elimination of substantially all of At Home’s nearly US$2 billion in prepetition funded debt, the negotiation of US$500 million in new exit financing to support At Home’s strategic growth initiatives and the transfer of ownership of At Home to its secured creditors, including the ad hoc group represented by Dechert.

The Dechert team that advised on this matter was led by financial restructuring partner Stephen Zide and global finance partner Alon Goldberger, as well as financial restructuring associate Eric Hilmo. The broader team included financial restructuring associates Miles Taylor and Karli Wade; global finance associates Casey Klein, Sam Levinson and Jesse Kitnick; corporate partners Jonathan Stott and Anna Tomczyk, counsel Nathaniel Klein and associate  Nicole Godani; tax partner Kevin Zaragoza; employee benefits partner Kevin Kay; antitrust counsel Beverly Ang; national security partner Jeremy Zucker; enforcement and investigations partner Jonathan Streeter and litigation associate Victoria Lee.
